::Great hotel on the edge of Old Town in an ideal location. Lovely hotel with a very good breakfast. Only negative, the noisy heater system which kept me up the first night, apart from that cannot fault the place or Riga. Was a great break.

::Good food and plenty of it. Very clean, high standards in the hotel. Can't do enough for you to make your stay enjoyable. Will put on my list to visit again. Also the hotel is central for getting about the capital Riga. Excellent hotel.

::Communication could have been better. We booked at 4X board rate for New year's eve but were changed to a smaller room after the first day. On the morning after, breakfast was changed to 8am instead of 7am without prior notice, and we had to catch the bus to the next destination. No cold food was possible when requested at the reception. This is shabby, keep going like this and you are not getting your Trip Advisor rating back since 2013.
