  Standing out like a sore thumb in the middle of old town. This epic Christian structure contains a monumental organ. Have a look around and remember to look up.

  The cathedral is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the country, it was built in 1211. It is considered the largest medieval church in the Baltic states.

  A beautiful Lutheran cathedral is a must visit in the city. Entrance to the cathedral costs €3 per person and this offers entrance to the gardens too. Be mindful that they don't allow any drinks inside and no calls are allowed within the premises.

  This is one of Rigas landmarks. Cathedral belfry completes skyline viewing from other side of Daugava river. Stained glass windows greatly decorate interior. Inside there is small exposition of armory dating eighteen century.
