  The food here was so very good. We stopped in here after exploring the dome and the old art and architecture of Riga. On a warm day the outdoor seating next to cobblestone streets and picturesque buildings made for the prefect ambiance. Our waiter was polite, friendly, and gave excellent recommendations when asked. The drink menu featured a number of local Latvian beers. The food was tastefully portioned and a soup, salad and pasta dish was enough for two people to eat heartily. The smoked trout, prawn, avocado, and walnut salad was perfectly dressed and delicious. The aubergine rotini pasta had excellent flavor. The elk goulash was a wonderful mix of hearty meat and lentil broth balanced by sweet tomato and herbs. Altogether an outstanding lunch experience for less than 40€.

  After walking around the town centre, looking for a new place to try for our evening meal, my husband and I cane across this restaurant by accident and we were so glad we did. This was our last night of our four night city break in Rigs and we certainly left the best til last. Wonderful food, beautifully presented. You must visit if you are ever in Riga. Highly recommended.

  We visited this place in the end of December for breakfast and it was amazing. For roughly 15€ for the food for 2 people we had plenty of variety. Cottage cheese, Omelette and homemade semolina with raspberry jam. Service is high classy and the decoration is rather romantic. Even though next to touristic Hotspots it's more like a local restaurant and you get lots of value for money here. Would recommend it to anyone who likes good authentic food in a quiet atmosphere.
