  Ask for additional light if you are planning on reading a book in your room. SPA area has seen it's time and is pretty boring unless overly warm pool is not what you are looking for. Go for ponds outside to have far better experience or order some SPA treatment.

  A very bad impression after visiting the Jonathan Spa. Brown and dirty water in the bath, all evening and morning there was no hot water at all, and even next day no one tried to solve the problem. Jacuzzi did not work, no one warned about this in advance. At 9 pm, the sauna in the spa area was turned off. There was a banquet in the restaurant area and there was no free space for dinner.

  Had a very good expectations for a romantic weekend with a Spa, bath in the bedroom and nice views. In reality it was a mediocre country side house with brown water in bath, non functioning sink and shower. Not to mention other small flaws and constant buzzing sound in the room. Spa was ok, just bear in mind that not everything works (steam sauna) and on your complaints staff will answer that yes we know, but that is what it is. Restaurant was ok, especially steak.

  what an amazing place, its like a dream!!! so many water lakes amazing location, price per night is a bit high but this is an experience and a must place to visit. a bit a drive from riga,

  Nice hotel, countryside style with a touch of modern design. Our room had a large terrace and a beautiful view overlooking the lake. Very picturesque. Good place for a calm, romantic getaway but too pricey for the hotel in Latvia’s countryside. SPA is nothing special, massages are not professional, certainly not worth the price you pay. They give tiny, see-through paper strings for a full body massages, that causes very uncomfortable feeling, especially if a massage specialist is a man. My wishes were not taken seriously, the massage was performed by their program and I will be very open about this - they put too much attention on certain part of your body, very confusing! My friend had the same experience with a lady specialist there and she had picked completely different type of massage. Restaurant food is fantastic! Worth every cent!
