  Few things are more frustrating than getting a poor haircut. I regret to say that I had one such experience here: poor is perhaps too strong a word, but it was average. Despite showing the barber several pictures of previous haircuts, I came out with a cut that was shorter and had a much higher fade than what I’d requested. Not much could be done to repair the damage. If in doubt, it’s always best to cut too little and make adjustments later on, or simply ask the client about the desired style. I felt sorry for the barber as she was otherwise very polite and professional, and tried her best to make corrections when I came back to the shop. In short: not a disaster but average.

  Good place for a haircut and shave. It's a traditional babrber shop with very affordable rates. They also offer you a whisky while you get your cut!

  Bēdīgi. Ne ikviena frizētava automātiski ir barber-shop, pat ja saimnieki to ļoti vēlētos. Pat pēc aicinājuma sākumā izmazgāt matus seko atteikums, ka tas tiks izdarīts beigās - "lai būtu svaigāka sajūta" (cik ūdens un šampūna tā tiek ieekonomēts?). Nogriezto matu notīrīšana ar grīdai paredzētu birsti - lūdzu! Aiz krekla apkakles iegāzts ūdens - lūdzu! Bārdas frizēšanas laikā kā zirgam uzliek melnu dvieli, kas neizceļas ar pārāk biežu maiņu dažādiem klientiem. Neko neteiktu, ja šāds serviss būtu kādā no pilsētas perifērijas frizētavām, bet nosaukt šo iestādījumu par barber-shop ir liela uzdrīkstēšanās! Viena zvaigzne - par frizieres centību un ātrumu.
